PLEASE NOTE:

This is your invitation to come along and share a camping weekend with all sections of our Scout Group & experience a wide range of activities, e.g. canoeing, sailing, archery, shooting and many more.

The Group can provide a limited amount of camping equipment to anyone who would like to borrow it.

The camp will start with arrival from 5pm onwards on Friday 11th July and finish at midday on Sunday 13th July, although we would like to welcome day visitors on the Saturday.

Our camp is going to be a Pirates theme & on the Saturday night we will be having a BBQ (this meal is included in the price) & a campfire. We would encourage you all to get into the spirit and come in fancy dress to this, prizes will be awarded for those who have made the best effort with costumes.

Put the date in your diary now, booking forms are available on the noticeboards next to the ministers office or please contact me and I will email one to you.

On Sunday 7th October we will be in Hazel Grove Sainsbury's packing bags. This will hopefully provide us with an opportunity to raise funds to help our group. It is also a great exercise for us to help get the name of Scouting out and about and to let people know who we are. We will be handing out fliers and generally trying to spread the word about 1st Hazel Grove.

Throughout Sunday we will need as much help as we can get, so that we can cover as many tills as possible. If you can come down and help us then we would appreciate it very much, we will be packing between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm. If you are a member of the group then please wear full uniform.
