Wiltz, Luxembourg 2005
This year the Scouts and Explorers visited the town of Wiltz in Luxembourg for our annual summer camp. We travelled by coach and stayed in St. Georges Chalet.
Whilst there we undertook many scouting activities including bases such as bivouac building and woggle making. We also went out on day visits to the European Space Center, Luxembourg City and Metz, France.
Everyone certainly seemed to have a good time and all the reports have been great!

Bullock Smithy Hike
|
14th September 2004, 14:53
|
Each year the Bullock Smithy Hike takes place walking 56 miles around the peak district in as short a time as possible. This year we had 3 explorer scouts enter and 3 leaders. Special congratulations go out to the two leaders who completed the hike, and even more special congratulations to Andrew Sidgwick who completed the route in 16 hours 51 minutes, thus winning two trophies for fastest Scout from Hazel Grove, and fastest Scout in the entire walk. Congratulations Andrew!
Here's a lovely picture of Andrew him self!
